Matilda Jane *Paint By Numbers* Review & $50 Gift Card Giveaway! (Ends 12/24/2013)

I am so super duper extra freaking crazy excited about this review & giveaway from Matilda Jane! They were so nice to send Alexa over a beautiful outfit from their Paint by Numbers collection, and we couldn't get that package open quick enough. She was so excited before she even put the outfit on because of all the colors.

Every piece of this outfit was nicely packaged inside of a blush pink mesh bag. The tags were cloth, and just screamed "good quality"!! The whole set goes together so nicely. Matilda Jane is known for their wacky, yet matching clothes. Their whole collections are meant to be mix-match, so that you never have the problem of your child running downstairs in clothes that just don't match. We have this problem in my house everyday! 

 The undergarment shirt is actually a pale pastel yellow, its called their Biscuit tee, and is priced at $32. The knot top over it is called their, Turtledove Knot Top, and is priced at $44. Last but not least are the leggings, OOohhh the leggings! These are by far my daughter's favorite, and mine too! They are called their Gallery Leggings, and they are listed on the Matilda Jane website as being NEW! ;) They are priced at $34. 

I love the material and the quality of these clothes. They aren't made cheaply, and will last forever. I love that you can buy different things from the collection and it will all match together nicely, because thats how they have designed their collections. If you plan to order, I would, however, recommend sizing up. My daughter just is moving into a size 8, so most things in this size are a bit big on her, but this was just right, and the pants ran a bit short to me. I think sizing up one size would have been perfect, though.

New Incognito Positioning Seat

So excited about this post! I got an exciting e-mail the other day about a new product coming soon in early 2014 from Safety 1st. The product is a new booster seat, but this one is different. This booster seat is incognito for older kids who still require a booster seat, but may get embarrassed or fight with parents about still having to use it. It is imperative to utilize a booster seat until your child reaches your states regulations on height and weight requirements. Carseat safety is just as important for an infant as it is for an 8 year old.

I, myself, have an 8 year old. I struggle with her constantly on using her booster which she refuses most of the time. I can not wait for this new seat to come out. Heres what my e-mail said for a better description of the seat....

Kalahari Resorts in Sandusky, OH Review

*I was given a free room for the weekend with my family to enjoy the resort, but everything I have written was wrote by me & are my honest opinions of the resort.*

I am so super excited about this review! This was my first official travel review (and yes I am considering driving an hour away as a traveling review)! We live in Northwest OH and only have about 3 months of warm weather to utilize an outdoor pool, so we love indoor waterparks. We have gone to a few close to us, and we have even been to Kalahari before, but I am so excited because I actually got a personal one on one tour of the whole place and I can't wait to share everything I learned with you guys.

Thanksgiving and now Christmas?!

Where has the time gone? This time of year always goes by way too quickly. From October until the new year my life is so busy, here's a run down of important dates...

-Halloween

-My daughter'a birthday

-Thanksgiving

-Christmas

-Anniversary

-New Years

Busy, busy!! We went out of town this year for Thanksgiving and are with my husbands family. It was fun. I think it's always pretty interesting getting the whole family together, and lots of good belly laughs! 

Before Thanksgiving, I was given the opportunity to go to a nearby Waterpark to review it for the blog and we had a ton of fun (see post later). My daughter brought a friend and my mother-in-law came out to help me since my husband had to work. We had a blast and we can't wait to go back.

Now as Christmas is fastly approaching and our house elf Dennis has arrived and brought cold weather with him, we are getting in the Christmas spirit. We've put our tree up, well a few trees up, put our door decor out, and table decor also! Closer to Christmas, my daughter and I will start baking obscene amounts of cookies and we will force my husband to take them to work. 

I always like to make the peanut butter blossoms, pecan t-balls, and snickerdoodles. On Christmas eve we always have BBQ hot dogs and lil smokies with black olives. We usually open one present on Christmas Eve because my daughter and I just can't wait!!!

Lee Kum Kee Review

Have you heard of Lee Kum Kee? I have never heard of it until now to be honest, but I am so glad the company approached me to do this review and introduced me to their products! 

The company sent me over some ready made sauces to try out with my family. I really am short on time during the week with all the extra curricular activities we have going on, so a quick meal is necessary. I like to be able to give my family their protein, starch, and vegetable at dinner...not just throw some junk together. (Sometimes junk does get thrown together, though!) I was super excited when I got these sauces in the mail because after reading the packages, these are the perfect go-to to complete a fast and healthy meal.
